How do we know the earth is rotating? Simple! Because Monty Python told us it was - “Just remember that you’re standing on a planet that’s revolving, and revolving at nine hundred miles an hour”. Oh, and of course, back in 1851 a scientist by the name of Leon Foucault showed us a pendulum!
