A Look At The First Avengers

The first Avengers in the movie introduced us to an ensemble cast that we would come to love. Playing multiple characters meant many actors had to do a lot of acting to keep track of who everyone was playing. One of the most exciting things about this ensemble is that each member is very different. They're all-powerful but also have unique flaws that set them apart from one another. It's interesting how that plays into the comic book world and how it applies to the Avengers.

Thor - The God of Thunder

Let's start with Thor. This is easily the best comic book personality to have a starring role out there right now. He's been around since the dawn of time. He's also the father of the modern-day Avengers - Thor, Vision, and Iron Man. There's a lot of history between them that's been left untouched by the movies. Thor is an immortal who possesses great strength, endurance, and skill in arms and martial arts. He is also known as the God of Thunder and the King of Thunder. He could also be considered the king of rain, having the ability to command the skies and cause massive rainstorms with his sheer voice and magical powers. Thor was born in the city of Asgard in the realm of Old Norse.

Iron Man - An Introduction to the Character

The second member we'll discuss is Iron Man. This is probably the comic book character that set the stage for all future comic book superheroes. In the early years of the Avengers, he was known only as Iron Man. He was a billionaire who owned a lot of gold, so he could make mighty fists that could crush objects. Iron Man is a fictional superhero appearing mainly in American comic book publications produced by Marvel Comics. The character was created by the late writer and artist Stan Lee, based on the comic book of the same name, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby.

The Incredible Hulk

The Hulk is a fictional character appearing in books by the American writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. First appearing in the first issue of The Incredible Hulk, the character has become one of the most popular characters in the Marvel comic book world. The Hulk is an indestructible green monster who owns the world's most giant mass-produced Hulkbuster robot, called the Hulkbuster. The character is featured on the cover of every issue of the Incredible Hulk. It has made several appearances in various other comics, including a minor appearance in the late seventies book Civil War II. In recent years, he has made several television appearances, most notably on the Ultimate Spider-Man series episode.

Who Is Captain America?

Captain America is a superhero appearing mainly in American comic books produced by Marvel Comics. He is the super-warrior created by legendary cartoonist Joe Simon and penciler Jack Kirby. Several changes happened to the original Captain America story, most notably a battle with Hitler and his equally iconic trademark shield. Also, Steve Rogers was given a red and gold shield to replace the traditional blue shield. Considered by many to be one of the greatest super-soldiers of all time, Cap is the epitome of strength and action. Captain America uses his super-soldier formula to gain the upper hand in any combat situation with incredible agility and combat skills. Compared to the Incredible Hulk, Cap is a unique symbol of peace and strength, representing the finest human qualities to conquer the evil acts of hatred and violence.

Hawkeye - The Archer Of The Avengers

Hawkeye is a fictional superhero appearing mainly in American comic books produced by Marvel Comics. First appearing as an enemy in Tales of Suspense#57, he later became a founding member of the Avengers team and was featured as a supporting character in The Avengers series. Hawkeye's arrow is manufactured from carbon composites and designed to release an archery bolt at a high velocity. The arrow is said to withstand a considerable amount of force, allowing it to pierce several vehicles, buildings, and people solidified by Intracoastal Waterway. There are several variations of the Hawkeye bow, which include having a quiver on either side. The arrowheads on the other side of the quake can damage bullets fired at it severely.

Black Widow – The First Female Avenger

No Marvel Universe superheroine has been apart from female superhero Black Widow (also known as the Black Widow) throughout her multiple appearances. Born and raised in Stalingrad, she was presented with her foster family by Russian terrorists. The Russian government also attempted to kill her several times. However, she always managed to escape the clutches of death. She has an uncanny ability to move silently and quickly, even while wearing complete concealment, and her skills were honed during training in the Soviet Union.
