With its high insulation and low current leakage, soldering of precision flat ICs and CMOS is safe. The heater on/off control uses a zero-volt switch circuit which reduces noise. The tip temperature is set at 320 Degrees C. The power lead is made from silicon rubber, which is very flexible. The handle incorporates a ribbed rubber piece for superior grip.
