Nite Ize – CamJam XT Aluminum Rope and Cord Tightener Meet the ultimate tie-down tool, making light work of securing your heavy loads. Tighten, tension, connect and secure with knot-free rope tightener technology, by simply pulling your rope or cord through the cam mechanism of a Nite Ize CamJam XT Aluminum Rope and Cord Tightener. Featuring a carabiner clip and gate on one end, the CamJam XT is cleverly designed to be configured in either a Fixed End or a Loop System to securely tie down lumber, gear and other heavy loads. When you are done using the CamJam XT rope tightener, simply rotate the cam lock lever and pull your rope or cord upward. To use the Fixed End System: anchor the carabiner to any hook, D-ring or loop, and feed cord or rope through the cam until you’ve reached the desired level of tension. Then pull the cord firmly, and the cam locks into place and stays that way until you release it. To use the Loop System: Tie a knot to create a loop in one end of your rope or cord. Clip the CamJam XT into that loop, then pull the other end of rope through the cam mechanism. The Nite Ize CamJam XT Aluminum Rope and Cord Tightener is made of heavy-duty, durable cast aluminum, with a single pack load limit of 280 lbs (127kg) and a break strength of 800 lbs (380kg). Fits rope sizes up to 3/16″ (5mm). Measures 3.8″ x 1.86″ x .90″ (98mm x 47.3mm x 22.75mm) and weighs 3.2 oz (91g).
