The USB-powered Talking Yoda is compatible with USB 1.0 and 2.0 and comes with a 150 mm cable. Capable of detecting motion up to 3 metres away (depending on light in room), as soon as anyone comes in range Yoda springs into action – activating his lightsaber and slaying them with 6 different phrases of wisdom or warning:
- "In the end, cowards are those who follow the dark side."
- "A disturbance in the Force there is."
- "Retreat! Cover you I will."
- "Still much to learn you have."

Choose from 3 different settings:
- Sound & LED – motion detector activates lightsaber and sound.
- LED – motion detector activates lightsaber while Yoda stays eerily quiet.
- OFF – the motion detector is off so that you can practice detecting a disturbance in the force on your own.

The USB Talking Yoda desk protector features an infra red motion sensor which detects movement up to 3 metres (1 feet) away (depending on light conditions). When movement is detected Yoda's lightsaber lights up and he says one of 6 phrases.
