Tennis balls, footballs and Frisbees - if you haven't thrown one of these yourself, you've likely seen one being thrown by someone else...if you fit into neither of these categories, then we suggest you take a peak outside - there's a whole world out there waiting to be explored.
What you'll soon discover is that most flying toys weren't exactly designed to be thrown, they just happened to be handy whenever those throwing urges arrived. Tennis balls were designed to be hit, footballs designed to be kicked, even Frisbees were originally used for baking pies...
...so Mark Forti, a bright university student ventured into designing the X-Zylo Ultra - a radical plastic toy designed from the ground up to be thrown. The result, a flying gyroscope that goes like the wind over incredibly long distances, up to 200m in some cases.
What enables this amazing flight will actually intrigue physics boffins - see, the X-Zylo Ultra flies due to gyroscopic and aerodynamic principles such as: lift, Bernouli's principle, dihedral, angular momentum, precession, centrifugal force and more.
Already rated best flying toy many times over, the X-Zylo Ultra's the ultimate game of catch - if you've thrown a football before, mastering this toy will be a cinch. Why learn and play separately when you can do both with the X-Zylo Ultra - how far will you throw one?
Product Specification
The X-Zylo Ultra is about 25g in weight and recommended for ages 9 and upwards. Shipped colours may vary from that pictured. Please note: Due to its light-weight design, the X-Zylo Ultra is best thrown in still to light wind conditions.
