The team here at LatestBuy have been fortunate enough to play with a countless number of multi-functional digital camcorders from around the world. When the StyleCam DV100 arrived at our doorsteps, it was pretty hard for us to believe that the engineers at SiPix were able to cram so many features into this entry level camcorder for such an unbelievable price.

Ergonomically designed to fit snugly into the palm of your hand and complete with a padded camera strap to aid steady video and photo capture, the DV100 rates highly in the good looks department.

A 1.6" TFT LCD colour display allows you to view footage on the fly and get really close to those best moments with the 2x zoom.

The 8MB onboard memory will get you up to 82 digital still pictures or about 2 minutes of video footage. Not enough? Greater storage in the DV100 is not a problem with the built-in expansion slot accommodating Secure Digital (SD) card and MultiMedia card (MMC) formats - an additional 256MB storage card will let you record more than an hour of video footage.

With great video and photo editing software included, you won't need much more than an appropriate backdrop and a few obliging human props to begin recording your very own movies.
