When we first heard about the IR Remote Alarm Clock, we couldn't help but conjure up the fun having possibilities of this gadget. Apart from the obvious application of turning your telly on and off, we reckon that throwing in an infra-red (IR) robot or other remote control (RC) toy into the mix could just about grab every funniest home video award out there.
For example, teach your Robosapien a few tricks, then set someone up with this automatic trigger nearby - if planned just right, you'll either scare the living daylights out of someone, or at least have them rolling with laughter. It's moments like this we'd love you to share.
Before too long, you'll soon discover that this TV remote control clock is not your average alarm. After learning almost any infra-red command, it'll operate that function up to two specified times (eg. air conditioning on/off)...
...and if you're just not in the mood, simply return the alarm clock to its more sedate buzzer mode.
Possibly another use for this automatic timer is as a security device. Have it turn on/off your TV, Hi-fi etc. when you're away from home for that lived in presence.
Not to be outdone on features, the IR Remote Alarm Clock also crams in a trendy blue backlit LCD screen and day, month and year calendar display. Best of all, setting up and using the automatic control features of this alarm clock are a cinch.
