Now there's a sentence you probably thought you'd never be saying. But then here we are! Pocket Shock-it has put that question on everyone's lips. (Well, it would do, if their jaws weren't on the ground or screaming "Ow! Ow! Make it stop!".)

Not content to just give the world Lightning Reaction – where the last one to buzz in gets zapped. And not satisfied with the cruel and unusual, purely random punishment dished out by Electric Shock Roulette. We've decided that mankind is ready for the Pocket Shock-it!

It's the completely portable, 2 in 1 game – that you can unleash anywhere on anyone at anytime! Not that the other's are bulky of course, but this one fits in the palm of your hand - just make sure you don't have it turned on.

You can take it to the pub! To school! (Actually, there's probably a very good rule preventing that.) To work! (Don't let the Occ Health rep see it.) Even on holidays! So you can meet perfectly lovely people, make friends with them and then send some voltage through their veins!

You remember the rules though right? If you suffer from epilepsy, heart problems or any similar or related illnesses – the Pocket Shock-it is not for you (or your pacemaker or any other electronic health equipment.) The rest of us however, have no excuse.

Pocket Shock-it is for 2-4 players, requires 3 x LR44 batteries (included) and is approximately 10.5 x 6 x 2.5 cm in size. Includes a handy strap to catch Pocket Shock-it from falling to the ground when the shocking begins!

This is such a funny game. I got it for Christmas from my brother. Depending on who I'm playing against, I prefer the roulette to the lightning reaction. I thought I had quick reflexes, but obviously I don't...I'd prefer to leave it to chance with some people. The shock itself seems to vary - my pocket shock-it game is more powerful than my brother's. Either way, it hurts...but not so much that I don't want to go another round in hopes to see somebody else get shocked. When you get shocked, your first reaction is to the pain and the feeling of electricity going up your thumb to your wrist. Even though I get mad for a second, we all end up laughing at each other's reactions. It's a fun little ridiculous game. (Dec '08) Was this review helpful?
