Product Review
"The photos here certainly do not do this thing justice. If you have hundreds of glow in the dark stars like I did, get rid of them! I normally go to bed with some relaxation music or nature sounds and this projector just adds the perfect touch. I would recommend that if you use this while you go to sleep, get yourself an on/off power switch timer so this unit can turn itself on or off according to the time you set it to. This product would have to be the best thing LatestBuy have!" Laser Star Projector - Robert H, Canberra ACT (Jul '08)

Did you know?
Did you know that audio recording and playback has come a long way? The first phonograph (or turntable) was invented by Thomas Alva Edison in 1877. These early phonographs recorded onto a tinfoil sheet phonograph cylinder using an up-down motion of the stylus. The phonograph was later superseded by the gramophone in 1887, an improved model which featured audio being recorded on flat discs (as opposed to cylinders) and a back and forth movement of the stylus.
In 1963 the company Philips introduced the compact audio cassette medium for audio storage under the trademark name Compact Cassette. This medium used magnetic tape to store data and was made increasingly popular by the release of Sony's Walkman in the 1980s.
Since then CDs and other digital file formats (such as MP3) have gone on to replace the older mediums in the mainstream. But what if you still have an old turntable or tape deck lying about with a collection of vinyls or tapes that you'd like to have converted to an audio CD or saved on your MP3 player? Well then, the iMusic Vinyl & Cassette Converter is just what you need! | |
