Just wave your hand across the sensor on the upper right hand side to scan or change the station or wave your hand on the left hand side to increase / decrease volume. Audio can be input by way of a standard 3.5mm stereo jack (cable included). The unit is also equipped with a standard 3.5mm stereo headphone output. The mood light has two modes of operation - a flashing or gentler sooting display of coloured lights.
