What the Magma Lamp is all about...
|
|
There's a reason why people still spot Elvis in convenience stores - some things are just so iconic that they refuse to die. But for every unforgettable development of the 60s and 70s, there are about three times as many that are best forgotten!
The Magma Lamp, however, is a prime example of how designers got it right back in the 60s. And decades later, they can still bring a futuristic, zany feel to your interior.
Our Magma Lamps combine a psychedelic rainbow of colours with a space-age rocket design - a definitive feature of modern style back in the day. As the lamp warms up, its coloured liquid develops a life of its own, morphing into wild shapes as it transforms into a kaleidoscope of explosive hues.
There's a range of great colours to choose from to either complement or clash with your décor, and though the lamp is bright enough to light up a room, its laidback vibe contributes an ambience you just can't get with any ordinary lamp.
Pull up a beanbag, light some incense, crank up the Hendrix and be prepared to be mesmerised by a light show as spectacular as the eruption of Mt Vesuvius!
