Back in those days, the goal was to make fully functional writing tools that could be used even if an astronaut was floating upside down in zero gravity and felt the urge to do a crossword puzzle (maybe).
After much research and testing, the result was a pen that relied on the internal balance of pressure, rather than gravity to propel ink through the barrel to the ballpoint. Amazing technology back then – and it still is today.

The Inka Pen comes in blister packaging, is fabricated from high-strength aerospace-grade materials (carbon fibre & 304 stainless steel), lightweight, watertight, pressurised, transforms from quick-use (80mm in length) to full-size writing instrument and comes with a lifetime warranty.The stainless steel barrel is hardened, CNC machined, centreless ground and laser engraved. The pressurised ink cartridge ensures the pen will write wet or dry at any angle, temperature and altitude. Ink cartridge refills are available and sold separately.A stylus is integrated into the pen for use with PDAs. When closed, the pen easily and securely attaches to keys, clothing or other gear and is o-ring sealed and watertight.
