Just push the clock's translucent display and it'll switch between functions with a different colour each time. Push once to light up the alarm clock with a bright white background. Push again to display the current temperature against a bright green background. The next push activates the timer - counts minutes and seconds whilst giving a red glow. Finally the last push displays a calendar with the month, date and day, with a brilliant blue illumination.

Best of all, the digits on display are oversized and easy to read through the eyelashes of a barely opened eye at six in the morning.

Let's face it. The combination of usability and style makes this novelty but functional clock ideal for those of us who aren't "morning people".
