What the Flingo is all about...
If you're not one for laying back on the beach and you'd prefer to work out rather than work on your tan – then, bingo! Flingo is your answer. No more lugging bats and heavy bits and pieces for a bit of beach fun and fitness, Flingo folds up to nothing in your beach bag and will keep you entertained all day (or for as long as you can keep up).
It's a cross between beach volleyball, tennis and catch. To the uninitiated, the Flingo cloth looks like an innocent piece of material (also a saviour in those embarrassing "I've lost my bikini top in the surf" moments), but when you slip the cloth over your head and spread the tabs taught at the bottom, you have got yourself one very powerful "bat".
Here's the deal, the cloth is a bi-elastic (fancy way of saying it stretches in two directions) nylon spandex fabric. When the foam rubber ball hits the cloth, it's like a trampoline - the cloth stores the kinetic energy and gives it back in a surprisingly strong force – Flingo! In fact, the force is so strong, you can play Flingo up to a distance of 30 metres.
Play it at the beach, in the park, over a net, against a wall – you could even find an empty room and play Flingo Squash! It's waterproof, weatherproof and yes, the ball floats (just in case you miss your return).
