Is it real ice cream? Yes and each official Astronaut Ice Cream pack can be stored for many years without refrigeration as long as you keep them in an airtight, sealed container.

How much comes in a package? Each pack contains a standard serving size of ice cream measuring approximately 6.5 x 8 x 2 cm (Neopolitan) and 11 x 4 x 2 cm (sandwich).

What does it taste like? Because it's been freeze-dried (all the moisture has been sucked out of it), it is dry, crunchy and almost has the same texture as the inside of a Malteser. However, once you place it in your mouth and it starts to dissolve, the ice cream flavour really comes out.

Is it legit? Yes, Astronaut Ice Cream is kosher and the package bears the official Astronaut Foods symbol.

Ingredients: Milkfat, nonfat milk, corn syrup, strawberry puree, whey, cocoa, stabilised and emulsified by mono diglycerides, guar gum, cellulose gum and carageenan, artificial flavour, red #40 and vegetable annatto colour.
